Secrets of winning online Caribbean Stud Poker battles

If you follow the basics of 5 card stud poker then you will find it easy to play the Caribbean Stud Poker. Simply keep in mind the fact that you are competing against the Dealer, and not any of the Players in fray.

Of course, that doesn’t mean that with Caribbean Stud it’s easy to make money.

The player will lose his or her bet if the dealer happens to qualify with a better hand than the former. On the other hand, if the player holds a better hand than the dealer, he or she is paid even money on the ante and the following on the call bet.

Strategy 1: Though you need not worry about beating the other players' hands, do not share any information about your hand with your rivals or virtual buddies. You, on your own, should decide whether you want to fold or call the dealer.

Strategy 2: Remember, you are playing against the dealer, and also the fact that your hand must beat the dealer's hand. You must keenly observe and check your five cards.

Strategy 3: If you do not have a solid hand (say not even a pair) with absolutely no or little chance of winning then fold without a second thought. If you have a poor hand then there’s no point in risking a hand since you are certain to lose your Ante and the Progressive bet, if placed.

Strategy 4: If you carry a decent hand with a fair chance of winning, and believe that it’s a hand worth pursuing with (for example, a straight or pair) then you can place an additional bet at this point. For this, you need to wager exactly twice the money of the Ante bet. For e.g. if the Ante bet was $20, you now need to bet $40.

Strategy 5: Last but not the least, when you are about to start or actually begin playing take a pause and a deep breath before you sit down.
