Doubling after split is generally permitted, but crosscheck about the rule first!
Splitting doubles the bet since each new hand is worth your original bet. You are able to double split only on the first move, or else first move of a hand, which is created by a split. You will wish to carry your chips to the cashier for exchanging for cash when you have finished playing.
