History of Caribbean Stud Poker and other facts

The game of Caribbean Stud Poker does not have such a long history. However, the game has been very much popular among the die-hard gamblers. It’s a rather recent variation of the standard 5 card stud.

Caribbean Stud Poker first made its presence felt in the late 1980's. There is no agreement as to where the game first appeared. Some records state that game first was played on cruise ships that plied the Caribbean waters.

There are some other versions according to which the game of Caribbean Stud Poker was first played in a Dutch casino. In either scenario the inventor of the game remains anonymous till this day.
