Dynamic formats of online bingo

The format for playing bingo online is almost the same as for playing bingo offline. Players can have either one card or multiple cards.

The patterns that players need to complete or fill for a Bingo may differ from one game to another. In Postage stamps format, players need to fill 2 squares of 4 numbers on one single card - each in a corner of your bingo card.

Bingo Cards have numbers on them. The numbers are given at random on each bingo card. After the game starts, numbers are drawn randomly and then announced. There are 75 numbers in all in American Bingo whereas in Australian and British Bingo there are 90 numbers.

Here are some bingo formats:

• Blood, Sweat & Tears – Players need to fill a single card with 3 bingos (Here, corners do not count)
• Kite and Tail - Players need to fill a diagonal plus 1 of the corners that runs through the diagonal for a pattern that looks like a kite.
• Six Pack - Players need to form a pattern of 6 numbers, 2 rows of 3 numbers each – vertical or horizontal. Sometimes you are allowed to utilize the free space; sometimes not.
• Nine pack - Players need to fill a square of 9 numbers.
• Cover all - Players need to fill all bingo numbers on their card.
• Top and bottom - Players need to fill the bottom row and top row.

The game goes on till a player manages to complete any of the patterns described above with called numbers. He thus makes a bingo but only after the caller has checked the numbers by comparing them with those on the checking table.
Point bingo is another variation in which the bingo players compete for 1000 points. The caller makes note of the points at the bottom of each number, recording them against the respective players’ account. The person who reaches the 1000 points first is declared the winner.
